Evan Rapoport is one of the principals of hedge fund research and services firm, HedgeCo Networks. At HedgeCo, Mr. Rapoport helps to oversee a hedge fund database of over 5000 hedge funds, as well as hedge fund community of over 25,000 members. He has helped to create almost one hundred hedge fund websites and has also consulted on a substantial amount of new hedge fund launches. Mr. Rapoport and has been featured on CNBC, in Newsweek Magazine, South Florida Business Journal, Florida Trend and Registered Rep. Magazine, among various other publications.
Prior to helping found HedgeCo Networks, Mr. Rapoport was a Senior Vice President at Broadband Capital Management, a NASD member brokerage firm in NYC, NY. At Broadband, Mr. Rapoport managed assets for institutions as well as high net worth clients, and also participated in many private placements and PIPE transactions. Before Broadband, Mr. Rapoport was the youngest Senior Vice President in history at NYSE member Oscar Gruss' Private Client Group. He started his career in a Chairman's Council member's office at Paine Webber in NYC, NY. Mr. Rapoport currently holds Series 7, 63, and 55 securities licenses. He also holds a B.A. from the University of Florida.
Prior to founding HedgeCo, Mr. Schneider worked at Morgan Stanley and Prudential Securities. Mr. Schneider served as a vice-president at Morgan Stanley managing in excess of 100 million dollars of high net worth individual assets. Mr. Schneider participated and structured many private placements, PIPE transactions, Public Offerings with a total value of 250 million dollars. Mr. Schneider as a financial adviser seized the opportunity to offer individual investors, as well as institutional investors a medium to provide accurate and informed information on the explosive Hedge Fund community. Mr. Schneider has been an integral part in the raising assets and structuring for a number of start-up hedge funds and well as more established household names. Mr. Schneider has been quoted in many financial publications concerning the hedge fund community as well as appeared on financial networks such as CNBC. Mr. Schneider attended The State University at Albany.
Surej Sundaram Kalathil joined HedgeCo Networks as Creative Director in June of 2005. Mr. Kalathil has 10 years of experience in the design industry. His design experience includes web, print, illustration, and fine arts.
Mr. Kalathil started his Career in Bombay, India. He worked for various companies as creative director including Quorum Publications, V2 Digital Design, & and his own company Smart Designer Consultants. During that time, Mr. Kalathil developed over 150 website designs. He was awarded The Golden Web Design award for excellence, in 2002, 2003 & 2004.
Mr Kalathil has bachelor degree in Commerce, and a Diploma in Web Design and Development, as well as a Diploma in Commercial Arts, from Bombay, India.
Aaron Wormus has worked as the Technical Lead and Web Project Manager at HedgeCo networks since 2004. As an experienced Internet developer, he lead the development of the HedgeCo websites platform, and added hundreds of client-requested features to the more than 40 deployments of the system.
Prior to working with HedgeCo Networks, Aaron worked as a freelance consultant implementing back-end systems for clients ranging from telecommunications companies to mining companies and Silicon Valley software distributors.
Aaron Wormus studied Information Technology and Journalism in Finland, and writes technology pieces as a hobby. His written work has been published in various technology magazines, translated into 5 European languages, as well as published in an upcoming book [1]. Aaron regularly speaks at PHP Programming conferences, and is involved in the organization of his local technology user group.
